It is important that all waste and recycling is placed at the boundary of the property by 7.00am on collection day and should not be put out any earlier than the evening before collection.

One week is Recyclables which have to be put out in a Brown wheelie bin which should contain ALL food stuff, cooked or raw (meat, fish, etc.) and all vegetable matter, vegetable peelings, egg shell and garden waste but no rubble; plus Blue bag with dry, clean paper (no used paper hankies or used kitchen roll) and the Clear bag with SHDC specified recyclable plastics, aluminium foil and tin cans. The next week is Non-Recylables which have to be put out in a Grey wheelie bin which should contain only non-recyclables.
