How sensible it would be if governments said’oh, this policy, this project , this show runs really well, Let’s not change it.’ The Dittisham Regatta Committee yet again put on a fantastic Regatta. I am sure everyone who came would wish to thank them for all that hard work. There were little tweeks here and there, always a good thing to review what could be improved. There were more stalls and activities along the Quay than last year and they provided lots to do for those who were not rowing or sailing or who had finished rowing and sailing. The children’s Centre in Dartmouth are running a great summer programme in the Village Hall in Dittisham on Wednesday mornings from 10.00 to 11.30am. Children 0 to 11 are all welcome at least one parent must stay for the session. There will not be a session on August August 18 or 25th and the last session is September 1. There is something for everyone nursery rhymes, music, percussion, drumming and jamming, movement and dance so come along and have fun. For more information call 01803 833164.
